I get a lot of comments on my promotional video from fellow photographers as well as my clients. Originally, I commissioned the video to get out of writing the ‘about me’ section of my website. You can see me whine about writing here.

The added bonus of letting the clients know that I don’t bite much during sessions has been wonderful. It’s like they can get to know me a little before they book and it adds to my credibility as a business and puts a person behind the images they see… and in an effort to keep it as authentic as possible, we did not edit out or cut my magnificent muffin top!

Anyway – my point to this rambling is that our clients hire US, the photographer, the person behind the logo as much as they hire us for the images we create. Take out some of the mystery and the investment will pay off ten-fold.
